2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored Locally

Yes Sir stores all your task data, preferences, and settings locally on your device. This includes:

• Tasks you create (titles, descriptions, due dates, priorities, statuses)
• App settings and preferences (language, theme, PIN lock)
• AI chat conversation history
• Token usage statistics

This data is not transmitted to our servers and remains entirely on your device.

2.2 Data Sent to Third-Party Services

When you use the AI Buddy feature, your chat messages are sent to our AI provider's API (LongCat API) to generate responses. This data includes:

• Your chat messages to the AI
• Recent conversation context (last few messages)
• A summary of your current tasks (titles and statuses only) for context

We do not send any personally identifiable information such as your name, email, phone number, or location.

2.3 In-App Purchases

If you subscribe to our Premium plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Task Management: To provide task creation, organization, and tracking features
• AI Assistance: To generate personalized AI responses for task planning and productivity advice
• Notifications: To send local reminders for upcoming task deadlines (with your permission)
• Analytics: To display your personal productivity statistics within the app (computed locally)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data may only be shared in the following limited cases:

• AI Processing: Chat messages are processed by our AI provider to generate responses
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or valid legal process

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database encryption. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

If you enable the PIN lock feature, your app data is protected by a 4-digit PIN stored securely on your device.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• You can delete individual tasks at any time
• You can clear all chat history from Settings
• You can clear all app data from Settings
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

7. Children's Privacy

Yes Sir is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

• Notifications: To send task reminder notifications
• Internet Access: To communicate with the AI service
• Storage: To store task data locally on your device

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
